IES Holdings, Inc. reported its fiscal 2025 third quarter results on August 1, 2025, with a 16% increase in revenue and a 24% increase in operating income compared to the third quarter of fiscal 2024. Robust demand, particularly in the data center market, continued to drive growth in the Communications, Infrastructure Solutions, and Commercial & Industrial segments. The Communications segment's revenue surged 56% to $299.2 million, with operating income increasing to $47.8 million, driven by accelerating demand in the data center market and strong performance in high-tech manufacturing. The Infrastructure Solutions segment's revenue grew 27% to $129.5 million, with operating income of $32.6 million, fueled by strong demand for custom engineered solutions for data centers and expanded field services. The Residential segment's revenue decreased 8% to $346.1 million, with operating income falling to $33.4 million, due to a challenging housing market and pricing pressures from home builders. The Commercial & Industrial segment's revenue increased 20% to $115.4 million, with operating income of $12.9 million, reflecting increased activity in education, healthcare, and data center markets. IES also entered an agreement to purchase an industrial fabrication operation in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, to expand capacity for its custom engineered solutions business. Subsequent to the quarter end, IES acquired the remaining 20% interest in Edmonson Electric and Qypsys, a Tampa, Florida-based provider of wireless network infrastructure.
