Norwegian Cruise Line announced on December 18, 2024, significant updates for Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Breakaway, with dry docks scheduled for January 17 to February 2, 2025, and February 19 to March 14, 2025, respectively. Norwegian Bliss will debut a new outdoor venue, Horizon Park, offering lawn-style games and reclining loungers.
Norwegian Bliss will also see updated accommodations for its Premiere Owner's Suites in The Haven, now including three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and refurbished living areas. Additionally, 24 new balcony staterooms and two club balcony staterooms will be added, and popular dining venues like Cagney's Steakhouse and Teppanyaki will be expanded.
Norwegian Breakaway will introduce the Silver Screen Bistro, an immersive cinema and dining venue, replacing the Spiegel Tent. It will also feature Horizon Park with an expansive stage for live music, and The Stadium for family-friendly games. Cagney's Steakhouse will replace Moderno Churrascaria, and Ocean Blue will become Palomar, with Vibe Beach Club and The Haven Sundeck also being expanded.
