Peloton Interactive, Inc. announced significant changes to its leadership team, including the appointment of Charles Kirol as Chief Operating Officer (COO), a newly created role, effective April 14. Kirol will report directly to President & CEO Peter Stern and will focus on supply chain, cost management, information technology, and achieving operational excellence across the business. He brings over 25 years of experience in high-impact business transformations.
Dion Camp Sanders, previously Chief Emerging Business Officer, has been named Chief Commercial Officer. In this expanded role, Sanders will be responsible for first-party retail, inside sales, third-party retail, bike rental, sales of pre-owned refurbished equipment, international strategy and operations, B2B channels, Precor, M&A, and business development. This designation recognizes his central role in returning Peloton to growth.
As part of the COO transition, current Chief Supply Chain Officer Andy Rendich will step down from his role but will remain at the company as an advisor through the end of Peloton’s fiscal year. The company also plans to launch a search for a Chief Information Officer, who will manage and oversee Peloton’s information technology strategy, operations, and infrastructure, reporting to Charles Kirol. These changes are intended to reinforce the company’s focus on improving member outcomes, expanding market reach, delivering superior service, and enhancing unit economics and cost management.
