Royal Caribbean announced on January 16, 2025, the next edition of its 'Artist Discovery Program,' which will spotlight up-and-coming Caribbean artists on the new Star of the Seas. This program aims to bring the culture and beauty of the Caribbean onboard the ship.
Artists from across the Caribbean are invited to submit their work to be featured as large-scale murals in prominent locations on Star of the Seas, including the Royal Promenade and embarkation area. Each selected artist will receive a grant ranging from $20,000 to over $100,000.
Star of the Seas is set to debut in Port Canaveral, Florida, in August 2025, offering 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean vacations. This initiative enhances the guest experience by connecting them with local culture and supports regional artistic talent, reinforcing the brand's commitment to its destinations.
