Royal Caribbean officially welcomed Star of the Seas into its fleet on July 10, 2025, following its completion at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. The keys to the new Icon Class ship were handed over just weeks before its August debut from Port Canaveral, Florida. Star of the Seas is the company's third ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and features a proven lineup of industry-leading environmental programs. Its delivery marks a significant step in Royal Caribbean Group's journey toward introducing a net-zero cruise ship by 2035. The new vessel will offer 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean adventures, including visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. This addition expands Royal Caribbean's capacity and introduces innovative features designed to enhance the guest experience and drive future bookings.
