Fisk Electric Awarded First Phase of $147 Million Electrical Contract for New Harris Health Hospital

Tutor Perini Corporation announced on October 3, 2024, that its subsidiary, Fisk Electric Company, has been awarded the first phase of an electrical services contract for a new Harris Health hospital in Houston, Texas. This initial phase is valued at approximately $29 million, part of a guaranteed maximum price contract currently valued at $147 million. Fisk Electric's scope of work includes the core and shell and tenant finish-out electrical and fire alarm components for the ground-up construction of the new 12-story hospital tower and podium. The new hospital is slated to become Harris County's third Level I trauma center. Work is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2024, with substantial completion of the entire electrical contract anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2028. The initial $29 million portion of the contract value was added to the company's backlog in the third quarter of 2024.
