ATA Creativity Global announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2025, reporting total net revenues of RMB55.9 million. This represents an 8% increase year-over-year compared to RMB51.8 million in the second quarter of 2024, primarily driven by a combined revenue increase of over 50% from overseas study counseling, other educational services, and research-based learning services.
The company's gross profit for Q2 2025 rose by 10.2% to RMB28.3 million, with the gross margin improving to 50.6% from 49.6% in the prior-year period. Total operating expenses decreased by 9.4% to RMB42.1 million, representing 75.3% of net revenues, a notable reduction from 89.8% in Q2 2024.
As a direct result of higher revenues and reduced operating expenses, the loss from operations in Q2 2025 narrowed to RMB13.7 million from RMB20.8 million in Q2 2024. The net loss attributable to AACG also narrowed significantly to RMB10.8 million from RMB16.8 million in the prior-year quarter.
For the first half of 2025, total net revenues increased by 11.8% to RMB111.7 million, and the operating loss narrowed to RMB30.5 million from RMB42.4 million in H1 2024. Net loss attributable to AACG for the first half of 2025 narrowed to RMB24.1 million from RMB34.7 million, demonstrating consistent operational improvements.
