Aurora Cannabis Inc. announced a five-year investment into operational upgrades at its EU-GMP manufacturing facility in Leuna, Germany. These improvements are designed to increase flower growth capacity, enhance product quality, and drive cost efficiency.

The upgrades will incorporate best practices from Aurora's Canadian facilities, including commissioning additional grow rooms, installing new irrigation and lighting systems in existing rooms, and transitioning to hang dry and dry trim methods. This investment aims to strengthen the company's supply chain resilience and expand its domestic capabilities in EU-GMP certified manufacturing.

As one of only three licensed cultivation facilities in Germany, Aurora Leuna plays a pivotal role in supplying high-quality, locally grown medical cannabis. This expansion will enable the site to cultivate additional cultivars from Aurora's leading genetics library, positioning the company to meet growing demand in Europe with precision and efficiency.
