Aurora Cannabis Inc. announced the launch of its first German-cultivated medical cannabis product under the IndiMed brand. This product is manufactured at Aurora's EU-GMP facility in Leuna, Germany, marking a significant step in localizing production for the country's expanding patient base.
The new IndiMed brand offers a supply of high-quality, locally grown and sold medical cannabis. Aurora is one of only three facilities licensed to cultivate cannabis in Germany, positioning the company uniquely within the market.
The initial product from the IndiMed brand is Island Sweet Skunk, a dried flower sativa with 20% THC and less than 1% CBD, expected to be available on January 27. This launch leverages Aurora's expertise in cultivation and adherence to pharmaceutical-grade quality standards under GACP and EU-GMP guidelines.
