The project aims to upgrade the existing facility to meet regulatory requirements, ensure public health protection, and improve water quality. Metro Vancouver also seeks to support regional carbon neutrality objectives and enhance climate resilience through these upgrades.
AECOM's role includes preliminary engineering services, design, and project planning oversight, leveraging its expertise in advanced water treatment technologies. This builds on AECOM's long history of collaboration with Metro Vancouver on complex water projects.
