Accenture announced that it will acquire Faculty, a UK‑based AI‑native services and products company founded in 2014, for an undisclosed consideration. The deal will bring more than 400 AI professionals—including data scientists and AI engineers—to Accenture’s workforce and will integrate Faculty’s Frontier™ decision‑intelligence platform into Accenture’s product suite.
The acquisition is a key component of Accenture’s $3 billion AI investment strategy launched in June 2023. By adding Faculty’s expertise in applied AI, AI safety, and decision intelligence, Accenture aims to move clients from experimental pilots to fully scaled, production‑grade AI solutions that embed data, models, and business processes into a unified decision system.
Faculty’s talent pipeline will be expanded through its Fellowship Program, which transitions PhD and master’s graduates into industry roles. The Frontier platform, already used to build the NHS Early Warning System during the COVID‑19 pandemic and to support life‑sciences clients such as Novartis, will be made available to Accenture’s consulting, technology and managed‑services businesses, broadening the firm’s AI‑enabled service offerings.
Marc Warner, Faculty’s CEO, will become Accenture’s Chief Technology Officer and join the Global Management Committee. The appointment signals a deep integration of Faculty’s technology and culture into Accenture’s strategy and underscores the importance of AI leadership at the top of the organization.
The deal comes amid a broader consolidation trend in the AI services market, following Accenture’s earlier acquisitions of NeuraFlash (2025) and Aidemy. Accenture has also partnered with OpenAI and Anthropic to scale enterprise AI, and the Faculty acquisition strengthens that partnership by adding a proven AI‑safety partner and a robust product portfolio.
While the transaction value remains undisclosed and regulatory approval is pending, the acquisition positions Accenture to accelerate AI deployment across its global client base, enhance its competitive differentiation as the “most AI‑enabled, client‑focused company,” and deepen its commitment to responsible AI practices.
