Adobe and Google Cloud have expanded their strategic partnership, integrating Google’s Gemini, Veo, and Imagen generative‑AI models into Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite. The move adds new AI capabilities to flagship applications such as Photoshop, Premiere, Express, and Firefly.

The integration includes Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (also known as Nano Banana) in Photoshop for generative fill, Veo 3.1 in Premiere for advanced video editing, and Imagen 4 in Express for high‑quality image generation. Adobe Firefly Foundry will leverage Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform to allow brands to customize and deploy on‑brand AI models at scale, with a commitment that customer data will not be used to train Google’s foundation models.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed, and specific launch or availability dates for the integrated features remain unannounced. The expansion is part of Adobe’s broader strategy to offer creators a choice of industry‑leading AI models, complementing its own Firefly models and other partner offerings.

Both Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen and Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian emphasized that the partnership aims to empower creators and brands, accelerating content creation and expanding the creative toolkit across the industry.
