Adobe announced the integration of its flagship creative and productivity applications—Photoshop, Adobe Express and Acrobat—directly into the ChatGPT platform, enabling users to edit images, design graphics and manage PDFs within the chatbot through a conversational interface.

The move taps into ChatGPT’s 800 million weekly users, giving Adobe access to a massive audience and positioning the company to compete with rivals such as Google Gemini and other AI‑powered platforms.

Adobe’s AI strategy, centered on its Firefly generative‑AI engine, aims to embed AI across its product suite. The ChatGPT integration is a key step in that strategy, expanding Adobe’s reach without requiring users to install separate software.

While the integrated tools provide core functionality, they do not yet match the full feature set of Adobe’s standalone applications, which may keep professional users within Adobe’s ecosystem.

The partnership underscores Adobe’s focus on conversational AI and its commitment to making creative tools more accessible, signaling an intent to drive new subscriptions and usage of its core products through a high‑traffic platform.
