Analog Devices announced the launch of CodeFusion Studio 2.0, an open‑source development platform that streamlines the creation of AI‑enabled embedded systems.

The new version adds advanced hardware abstraction, seamless AI integration, and powerful automation tools. Built on Microsoft Visual Studio Code and a Zephyr‑based modular framework, it supports bring‑your‑own‑model capability, model compatibility checks, performance profiling, integrated debugging, and multi‑core application planning.

CodeFusion Studio 2.0 is a core element of ADI’s “digital roadmap” and its strategy to deliver “Physical Intelligence.” By lowering the barrier to entry for developers, the platform is expected to accelerate adoption of ADI’s processors and microcontrollers and drive demand for its high‑performance analog and mixed‑signal chips.

In fiscal year 2024, ADI reported revenue of $9.427 billion, a 23.39% decline from fiscal year 2023. For fiscal Q3 2025, revenue rose to $2.88 billion, a 25% year‑over‑year increase, while fiscal Q4 2024 revenue exceeded $2.4 billion. The company employs approximately 24,000 people worldwide.

The embedded AI market is expanding rapidly, driven by the need for intelligent edge devices that process data locally. CodeFusion Studio 2.0 positions ADI to compete more effectively in this space, offering developers a comprehensive, open‑source workflow that supports a wide range of applications from industrial automation to automotive and digital healthcare.
