ADTRAN announced on March 26, 2025, that it won two FTTH Innovation Awards at the FTTH Conference 2025. The awards recognize its SDX 6405 optical line terminal (OLT) and ALM fiber monitoring platform as standout technologies for next-generation fiber networks. ADTRAN received awards in the 'Active infrastructure – central network' category for its SDX 6405, which supports GPON, XGS-PON, and 50G PON on every port. This modular design allows providers to deliver multigigabit services and gradually add 50G OLTs without disrupting existing subscribers. In the 'Installation equipment, tools, test & measurement instruments' category, ADTRAN’s ALM was recognized for redefining fiber infrastructure monitoring. The compact device offers real-time, in-service visibility across the optical plant, including deep PON assurance that monitors fiber behind splitters without demarcation reflectors, reducing operational costs and improving service quality.
