Farmer Mac announced the appointment of Geraldine Hayhurst as Executive Vice President – Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, effective September 8, 2025. Ms. Hayhurst brings over two decades of legal experience, including roles at CoStar Group, Inc. and NewPoint Real Estate Capital.
Current Executive Vice President – General Counsel and Secretary, Stephen Mullery, will retire on April 3, 2026, after 25 years of service to Farmer Mac. Mr. Mullery will serve as an advisor to Ms. Hayhurst to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
This planned leadership transition in the legal department is a significant development for Farmer Mac's corporate governance and legal affairs. Ms. Hayhurst's experience in corporate governance, SEC filings, and M&A transactions is expected to support the company's continued growth.
