Air Industries Group announced it has received two contracts worth approximately $3.3 million. These contracts are for landing and arresting gear components for the US Navy E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft.
These orders support both the production of new E-2D aircraft and the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) of aircraft already in the fleet. The E-2D Advanced Hawkeye was ranked by the US Navy as one of its top five acquisition programs in both 2023 and 2024.
CEO Lou Melluzzo highlighted that Air Industries is the sole supplier of landing gear components for the E-2D aircraft. He noted that with over 70 aircraft operating worldwide and an expected service life into at least the 2040s, there is significant demand for both production and aftermarket products.
