Air Industries Group announced it has received a contract worth $5.4 million for Landing Gear Steering Collar Components for the US Air Force B-52 Aircraft. This contract marks a new customer relationship for the company.
Deliveries for these components are expected to begin in late 2026 and continue through the third quarter of 2027. The B-52 aircraft is expected to remain in service for another 25 years, with 76 aircraft active in the fleet.
CEO Lou Melluzzo stated that this sizeable order results from the company's increased focus on aftermarket spares. He anticipates continued demand for aftermarket products to support this aircraft for many years.
