AirJoule Technologies Corporation announced on August 7, 2025, an agreement to deploy an AirJoule® system in the City of Hubbard, Texas. This project represents the company's first field deployment in the United States to utilize low-grade waste heat to produce pure water from ambient air. The system in Hubbard will recover heat from a geothermal water well, showcasing an important application of the AirJoule® platform. This technology offers a scalable and energy-efficient alternative for water generation, mitigating strain on traditional water resources in regions like Texas facing water quality constraints. AirJoule Technologies intends to pursue certification that the potable water produced meets all minimum drinking water standards, a key regulatory milestone. The project is expected to commence in Q4 2025 and be completed by the end of Q1 2026, with successful testing potentially leading to additional deployments for high-volume municipal and industrial customers.
