Air Lease Corporation announced new long-term lease agreements with Qanot Sharq Airlines for five new Airbus A321neo aircraft. The order includes three A321-200neo XLRs and two A321-200neo LRs, representing a significant expansion for the Uzbek airline.
These state-of-the-art aircraft are scheduled for delivery to Qanot Sharq in 2026 and 2027, directly from Air Lease’s orderbook with Airbus. The A321neo LR/XLR models are known for their extended range and fuel efficiency, which will enhance Qanot Sharq's network reach.
AJ Abedin, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Air Lease, stated that the agreement strengthens the partnership with Qanot Sharq and supports the airline's growth. This lease placement underscores the ongoing demand for modern, fuel-efficient aircraft in the global aviation market.
