Regarding policies in force, auto policies remained flat month-over-month but increased 0.6% year-over-year to 25.239 million. Homeowners policies continued their positive trend, increasing 0.2% month-over-month and 2.2% year-over-year to 7.610 million.
Commercial lines policies in force experienced a continued decline, decreasing 2.3% month-over-month and 32.0% year-over-year to 172,000. The sustained year-over-year growth in core auto and homeowners policies indicates positive momentum in these key segments.
