Allstate Health Solutions, the Accident & Health division of Allstate, announced a new partnership with Intuit QuickBooks, Thatch, and Ambetter Health. This collaboration aims to enhance its product offerings by introducing an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA).
The ICHRA allows businesses of all sizes to directly reimburse employees, on a tax-free basis, for individual health insurance premiums and eligible medical expenses through off-exchange plans. This initiative provides employers with flexible, personal, and cost-effective health plan options tailored to their workforce needs.
As part of this partnership, Ambetter Health will roll out a new product, Ambetter Health Solutions, in select states in 2025, designed to help individuals offered ICHRA through their employers purchase marketplace health plans. Intuit QuickBooks customers using payroll subscription services will gain access to Allstate Health Solutions’ group health insurance platform.
