Allison Transmission announced the expansion of its service network across Japan and West Africa, reinforcing its commitment to global customer support and service accessibility. This expansion addresses the rapidly increasing population of Allison-equipped vehicles outside North America. In Japan, the number of Allison Authorized Service locations has grown from 7 to 29 over the past decade, driven by rising demand for Allison-equipped vehicles from leading Japanese OEMs. Allison has entered into strategic distributor agreements with SYNAGY Corporation, Sanko Diesel Co., Ltd., and Chikuho Seisakusho Co., Ltd. to bolster after-sales service. In West Africa, Allison formed a new strategic partnership with Services Machinery Trucks (SMT) Ghana, designating them as an Allison Authorized Dealer. SMT Ghana's expertise in construction, transport, and mining vehicle services will increase expert technical support and ensure access to Allison Genuine Parts™ and Approved Fluids across the region.
