Autoliv, Inc. announced that Fredrik Westin has decided to resign from his position as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Finance. Westin's departure is for personal reasons, as he intends to pursue a new role in continental Europe, where he resided prior to joining Autoliv in March 2020.

Westin will remain in his current role until December 31, 2025, providing a transition period for the company. Mikael Bratt, President and CEO, acknowledged Westin's valuable contributions over the past five years, a period marked by significant challenges for the global automotive industry.

The company has immediately launched a recruitment process to find a successor for the Chief Financial Officer position. The search for a new financial leader will be closely watched by investors, as the CFO plays a critical role in financial strategy and performance.
