AMP Exceeds Expectations with 16% Adjusted EBITDA Growth in Q1 2025, Upgrades Full-Year Outlook

Ardagh Metal Packaging S.A. reported a strong start to 2025, with first-quarter revenue increasing by 11% to $1,268 million, compared to $1,141 million in Q1 2024. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter grew by 16% to $155 million, surpassing the $134 million reported in the prior year. Global shipments expanded by 6%, indicating robust demand for beverage cans.

Both geographic segments contributed to the outperformance, with the Americas segment seeing a 12% revenue increase to $740 million and a 16% rise in Adjusted EBITDA to $106 million. Europe's revenue grew by 10% to $528 million, and its Adjusted EBITDA climbed by 14% to $49 million. These results were driven by favorable volume/mix effects and lower operational costs.

Building on this momentum, Ardagh Metal Packaging upgraded its full-year 2025 Adjusted EBITDA guidance to a range of $695 million to $720 million, reflecting improved underlying performance and favorable currency movements. The company also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per ordinary share, payable on May 15, 2025, to shareholders of record on May 5, 2025.
