Amkor Technology Inc. reported third‑quarter 2025 results with net sales of $1.99 billion, a sequential increase of 31.8 percent, and earnings per share of $0.51, surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.43.

Record revenue was posted in the Communications and Computing segments. The Communications segment benefited from a ramp of iOS products and a 17 percent year‑on‑year growth in Android devices, while the Computing segment grew on demand for AI and high‑performance computing solutions.

Year‑over‑year, revenue rose 7 percent and earnings per share increased from $0.49 in Q3 2024 to $0.51 in Q3 2025.

For the fourth quarter, Amkor guided on GAAP earnings per share of $0.38 to $0.48 and sales of $1.775 billion to $1.875 billion, reaffirming its focus on advanced packaging and test services.

Giel Rutten announced his voluntary retirement as President and CEO effective at the end of 2025. Chief Operating Officer Kevin Engel, who has served the company for over 20 years and previously held the COO role, will succeed him on January 1, 2026.

Amkor broke ground on a new advanced packaging and test campus in Arizona on October 6, 2025. The project, backed by the CHIPS for America Program, will invest $7 billion across two phases. The first facility is expected to be completed in mid‑2027, with production beginning in early 2028, and will support an end‑to‑end silicon supply chain in the United States.

The company’s full‑year 2025 capital‑expenditure forecast is approximately $950 million, reflecting the investment in the Arizona campus and other capacity expansions.
