On June 24, 2025, Ameresco, Inc. announced a project at the Istituto Stomatologico Italiano (ISI) in Milan, led by its Italian subsidiary, ENERQOS Energy Solutions S.r.l. The project aims to improve the historic institute’s energy efficiency and install cost-saving, resilient renewable energy technology. The comprehensive approach includes replacing curtain walls, installing a new 'double-skin façade system,' and upgrading existing HVAC systems across three interconnected buildings. These upgrades will enhance indoor air quality, improve efficiency, and provide significant savings. Enerqos will also install a solar photovoltaic and battery storage system on the Institute's premises to provide reliable, firm power and save on energy costs. The project, expected to be completed by the end of 2025, also includes a new external elevator and structural reinforcements for seismic adaptation.
