ATC Nigeria, a subsidiary of American Tower Corporation, announced a partnership with ProFuturo Foundation and the Kukah Centre to collaborate under the ProFuturo Program in Nigeria. This initiative aims to enhance digital access and learning opportunities for students in vulnerable communities.
The collaboration will facilitate the distribution of digital kits, each containing a computer, tablets, router, and projector, to 11 schools across Kano, Kebbi, and Tarabata States. This effort is expected to directly benefit over 5,600 children and 34 teachers, even in areas with limited connectivity.
Pieter Van Der Westhuizen, CEO of ATC Nigeria, emphasized that this collaboration expands access to technology and equips the next generation with essential digital skills. This partnership is part of a broader global initiative by American Tower and ProFuturo Foundation to reduce educational gaps in seven countries across Africa and Latin America.
