This adjustment was made in response to overwhelming positive reviews and feedback received from various film festivals and the industry. The movie was presented as the opening film of the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival 2024 and selected for the Tokyo International Film Festival and Hawaii International Film Festival.
Further bolstering its acclaim, Michelle Wai, an actress in 'The Last Dance', was granted the 39th Huading Award for Best Actress Category. This award is one of the most influential entertainment accolades in China, recognizing her outstanding performance in the film.
