Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Limited (AOSL) today announced the release of its new application-specific EZBuck Regulator, the AOZ23567QI Constant On-Time Buck Converter. This highly integrated solution is specifically designed to support the VCCPRIM_VNNAON rails in Intel's Arrow Lake platform, a key next-generation computing architecture. The AOZ23567QI delivers a high-power-density solution in a thermally enhanced QFN 5x5 package, capable of providing 22A continuous and 45A peak current. Intel has approved the AOZ23567QI as a key component on their Platform Component List (PCL) for VCCPRIM_VNNAON power architectures, confirming its compliance with stringent Intel specifications. This new regulator features a nominal fixed voltage of 0.77V and includes protection features such as cycle-by-cycle current limit, Short-circuit Protection (SCP), Overvoltage Protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown. The unit price for the AOZ23567QI starts at $2.70 in 1,000-piece quantities, with immediate availability and a lead time of 12 weeks.
