Asia Pacific Wire & Cable Corporation Limited announced on May 7, 2025, the appointment of Ben Lee as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective May 12, 2025. Mr. Lee is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in global finance.
Prior to joining APWC, Mr. Lee served as CFO of O’Neil Global Advisors and held VP Finance roles at Yum! Brands, Shanghai, and Canadian Solar, Inc. His background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Diploma in Accounting Program from The University of British Columbia, along with certifications as a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
CEO Yuan Chun Tang stated that Mr. Lee's strong credentials in corporate finance and international business are expected to bring added experience and perspectives to the executive team. This appointment fills the CFO position permanently after the departure of Ivan Hsia in November 2024.
