This innovative product is designed to deliver stunning 4K-resolution visuals, significantly enhancing the in-flight experience for passengers. The SkyShow Server aims to modernize outdated moving map systems in aircraft cabins.
The system provides a high-performance, interactive experience, allowing passengers to explore real-time flight data and immersive visuals directly from their personal devices. It features touch controls, augmented reality views, and over 50,000 Points of Interest (POI) pins for destination exploration.
The SkyShow Server is highly configurable to meet branding objectives and offers seamless integration with essential aircraft interfaces. Astronics expects the system to be fully certified and available by the third quarter of 2025, with orders currently being accepted.
