Dr. Gabelle brings extensive expertise in predictive, personalized medicine, and digital health in Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, with over 10 years of experience in clinical Phase I-IV trials and more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific papers. Her involvement includes leadership in research projects at European and global levels, as well as collaborations with pharmaceutical companies.
Professor Dr. Gabelle expressed enthusiasm for blarcamesine's profile, stating that a small molecule administered orally once daily, with demonstrated clinically meaningful improvement and a good safety profile, could be a "game changer" for patients, healthcare burden, and equity of access to care. Her appointment is expected to actively contribute to advancing blarcamesine to patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
