AXIS Capital Holdings Limited announced that Matthew Kirk will be appointed as the company’s next Chief Financial Officer, effective March 2026, as part of a planned leadership transition.
Mr. Kirk will succeed Peter J. Vogt, who will transition to a strategic advisor role through the end of 2026 to ensure a smooth handover. Mr. Kirk, currently CFO of Enstar Group Limited, will join AXIS in an advisory capacity in the fourth quarter of 2025.
He brings three decades of experience in insurance, finance, and accounting, and will report directly to AXIS President and CEO Vince Tizzio, serving on the Executive Committee.
