A Brookfield-led group, including Brookfield Asset Management and co-investors, completed the purchase of approximately 53% of Neoen SA's shares. This transaction moves the group closer to a €6.1 billion, or approximately $6.4 billion, takeover of the French renewables developer.

The controlling stake was acquired from shareholders including Impala SAS at a price of €39.85 per share. This acquisition is a significant step in Brookfield's strategy to expand its renewable power and transition portfolio.

Neoen is a global leader in renewable energy development, and this acquisition positions Brookfield to gain full ownership. This deal underscores Brookfield's commitment to investing in large-scale, mission-critical real assets that form the backbone of the global economy.
