BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) announced on October 1, 2024, the appointment of Connor Bates as worldwide president of its Medication Management Solutions business unit, effective immediately. In this role, Bates will be responsible for driving the global strategic, operational, quality, and commercial excellence of the business.
Bates brings decades of cross-functional experience across BD, including leadership positions within BD Biosciences and as vice president and general manager for the worldwide Infusion Solutions business. His background includes significant contributions in marketing, strategic planning, supply chain management, and product development.
His appointment is expected to support the relaunch of the BD Alaris™ Infusion System and accelerate growth across BD's connected medication management platforms. Bates will be based out of San Diego and report to Mike Garrison, executive vice president and president of the BD Medical Segment.
