Franklin Resources, Inc. reported preliminary month-end assets under management (AUM) of $1.53 trillion at March 31, 2025, a decrease from $1.57 trillion at February 28, 2025. This decline was primarily due to negative market impacts and preliminary long-term net outflows.

The firm experienced preliminary long-term net outflows of $4 billion for the month, with Western Asset Management (WAM) contributing $7 billion to these outflows. WAM's preliminary AUM stood at $242 billion at month-end, reflecting continued client withdrawals.

However, excluding WAM, Franklin Resources recorded preliminary long-term net inflows of $3 billion for the month, indicating resilience in other asset classes. Despite these positive inflows, the persistent outflows from WAM continue to impact the firm's overall asset growth.
