BKV Corporation announced that John T. Jimenez, who has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2021, will retire effective May 15, 2025. David Tameron, currently the company's Vice President, Strategic Finance and Investor Relations, has been named as the new Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Tameron will assume his new role on April 1, 2025, with Mr. Jimenez transitioning to a Senior Advisor position to assist with the leadership change until his retirement date. This internal promotion ensures a smooth transition and leverages Mr. Tameron's three years of experience within BKV's financial team.
CEO Chris Kalnin acknowledged Mr. Jimenez's contributions, including optimizing the finance function for public trading and completing the company's IPO in September 2024. The appointment of Mr. Tameron, with his background in corporate banking and institutional equity research, is expected to support BKV's continued growth strategy.
