Backblaze, Inc. announced on May 22, 2025, the launch of a private preview program for its new enterprise web console. This console includes robust features such as role-based access controls (RBAC) and mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA) to enhance cloud security.
The new web console is designed to streamline the management of B2 Cloud Storage deployments at scale for enterprises and managed service providers (MSPs). It provides flexibility for departments and user groups to manage their own B2 Buckets intuitively.
This upcoming release also allows for the creation of buckets in any region within an organization, supporting multi-region strategies. The general availability of the enterprise web console is planned for later this year, following feedback from the private preview process.
