Brenmiller Energy Ltd. announced today that its contractor has commenced on-site assembly of the 32 MWh bGen™ ZERO thermal energy storage (TES) system for Tempo Beverages in Netanya, Israel. Tempo, partially owned by Heineken International B.V., is a major producer and distributor of beverages.

The on-site assembly is proceeding according to schedule, with project commissioning on track for the end of 2025. The contractor is responsible for ensuring construction and installation comply with safety standards and coordination with Brenmiller and the customer.

The bGen™ system will replace Tempo’s heavy fuel oil boilers, serving as the primary heat source. This transition from fossil fuels to electricity is estimated to mitigate over 6,200 tons of carbon emissions annually and save Tempo an estimated $7.5 million over 15 years.
