Brenmiller Energy Ltd. announced an update on its Tempo Beverages project, confirming that the installation of its bCubes™ storage modules is set to begin in May 2025. The company expects to start commissioning the 32 MWh thermal energy storage system in October 2025.

The bGen™ thermal energy storage system is designed to replace Tempo's fossil fuel boilers, delivering sustainable process heat. This transition is projected to mitigate 6,200 tons of carbon emissions annually and save Tempo an estimated $7.5 million in energy costs over 15 years.

Tempo, partially owned by Heineken International B.V., is one of Israel's largest producers and distributors of beverages. This project represents a significant step towards industrial decarbonization and is a key milestone for Brenmiller's commercial pipeline.
