Brera Holdings PLC celebrated on April 15, 2025, a historic moment as Austin claimed the championship title in the inaugural season of League One Volleyball (LOVB) in the United States. This victory holds special significance for Brera Holdings, as its majority-owned club, UYBA Volley, is a key development ground for three of Austin’s star players.

Former UYBA players Carli Lloyd, Julianne Faucette, and Alessia Gennari were instrumental in Austin's triumph. Carli Lloyd, a veteran setter and Olympic medalist, captained the UYBA squad, while Julianne Faucette delivered critical points. Alessia Gennari, an Italian spiker, had a standout season and will return to UYBA for the 2025/26 season.

Pierre Galoppi, CEO of Brera Holdings, stated that this victory is a testament to the global caliber of talent their club continues to develop. The success of these athletes on the U.S. stage underscores the rapid growth and rising ambition in women’s volleyball, positioning Brera Holdings as a bridge between European and American women's sports ecosystems.
