Bitdeer Technologies Group announced its unaudited mining and operations updates for April 2025, reporting the successful energization of 70 MW of power capacity at its Tydal, Norway expansion and 132 MW at its Jigmeling, Bhutan sites. This brings Bitdeer’s global available power capacity to nearly 1.1 GW.
The company expects to energize the remaining 473 MW at Tydal and Jigmeling by the end of June 2025, which will increase its global available power capacity to 1.6 GW, with over half located outside the U.S. Bitdeer is prioritizing the deployment of its SEALMINER A2s in Norway and Bhutan, aiming to drive its self-mining hashrate to over 40 EH/s in 2025.
In a strategic decision, Bitdeer paused Bitcoin mining-related construction at its 570 MW Clarington, Ohio site to explore High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) opportunities, engaging in advanced discussions with development partners and end users. The company also reported self-mining 166 Bitcoins in April, a 45.6% increase from March.
