Butler National Corporation announced a significant reorganization of its sales teams and personnel reporting structure, effective May 2, 2025. The company is eliminating the sales team within the public reporting parent company and reassigning certain staff to their respective subsidiary divisions. This restructuring includes the elimination of the BNC Vice President & Director of Sales position, with Aric Peters' last day being May 1, 2025.
Under the new model, senior sales functions will be managed directly within individual business units, reporting to their respective business unit leaders. For example, the Avcon sales team will now report to Marcus Abendroth, President of Avcon. This change aims to align responsibilities more closely with operational goals and establish clear accountability for performance.
Executive Chairman Jeff Yowell stated that this reorganization reinforces the company's focus on driving efficiencies and improving margins. By placing ownership of the sales function within each business unit, management expects to better monitor the profitability of each segment.
