Burlington Stores, Inc. announced on August 21, 2025, the appointment of Michael Skirvin to its Board of Directors and Audit Committee, effective November 18, 2025. Mr. Skirvin brings over 30 years of experience in the off-price retail sector.
Mr. Skirvin previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Bob's Discount Furniture from 2016 through 2020, and held various roles with increasing responsibility at The TJX Companies from 1989 to 2010, including Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Operating Officer of the A.J. Wright division.
Chairman John Mahoney stated that Mr. Skirvin's addition will strengthen the Board's qualifications and expertise in overseeing the company's strategic growth. CEO Michael O’Sullivan emphasized that his knowledge will be valuable as Burlington continues to execute its 'Burlington 2.0' strategy.
