Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. announced that it has been awarded two new contracts in the Aurora Highlands master‑planned community in Aurora, Colorado. The first contract covers roadway design, traffic signal engineering, landscape architecture, and project management for a one‑mile, four‑lane roadway extension. The second contract involves site planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and full construction documentation for a 154‑unit residential duplex neighborhood. Both projects are slated to begin immediately, giving Bowman a deeper foothold in the high‑growth area.

The Aurora Highlands is a key component of the 21,000‑acre Aerotropolis development centered around Denver International Airport. Bowman has been the district’s program manager and lead designer since June 2024, overseeing more than $500 million of infrastructure. The new contracts extend that relationship and reinforce Bowman’s position as the primary design and program‑management partner for the district’s most ambitious projects.

Bowman’s Q3 2025 results provide a strong backdrop for the new awards. Gross contract revenue rose 11 % to $1.2 billion, and net service billing increased 11 % to $1.1 billion. Net income climbed to $6.6 million from $0.8 million, while adjusted EBITDA reached $18.3 million, up 7.6 %. For the first nine months of 2025, revenue grew 15 % and net income reached $10.9 million versus a $2.9 million loss a year earlier. Management guided 2026 net revenue to $465 million–$480 million and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 17.0 %–17.5 %, reflecting confidence in continued demand and cost discipline.

The new contracts add to Bowman’s backlog and increase its wallet share in the Aurora Highlands. By securing both a major roadway extension and a sizable residential development, Bowman is positioned to capture additional work as the community expands. The contracts also demonstrate the district’s confidence in Bowman’s program‑management model and its proven ability to deliver multi‑disciplinary projects on time and within budget, reinforcing the firm’s strategic focus on high‑potential development corridors.

Gary Bowman, founder and CEO, said the awards “strengthen our programmatic client relationship model and expand our engagement with the district.” He added that “the growing demand for large land‑development projects across the country is creating new opportunities for firms that can deliver integrated design, engineering, and construction services.” The company’s guidance for 2026, coupled with its recent earnings performance, signals a continued focus on scaling its core services while maintaining disciplined cost management.

Analysts have maintained a “Buy” rating for Bowman, citing the firm’s strong financial performance, growing backlog, and strategic positioning in the Aerotropolis. The recent earnings beat and guidance lift are viewed as evidence of the company’s ability to capitalize on the high‑growth development environment and to sustain profitability through disciplined execution.
