Byline Bank Honored with Multiple SBA Lender of the Year Awards

Byline Bank was named the Illinois SBA 7(a) Lender of the Year for the 16th consecutive year on August 19, 2025. For fiscal year 2024, the bank originated $119.6 million in 7(a) loans, which contributed to the creation of 742 new jobs statewide. This consistent recognition underscores Byline's deep commitment to supporting small businesses in its home state.

In addition to the 7(a) award, the SBA’s Illinois District Office also recognized Byline as the 504 Third-Party Lender of the Year for originating $47.5 million in SBA 504 loans. The bank also received the Export Lender of the Year award for delivering $6.1 million to Illinois exporters through various SBA international trade programs.

Beyond Illinois, Byline Bank achieved national recognition as a top SBA 7(a) lender by dollar volume in FY2024, with total loans amounting to $504.6 million. The bank also ranked second in SBA 7(a) lending by dollar volume in Wisconsin with $26.7 million and was a top 10 SBA 7(a) lender in eight other states, showcasing its broad reach and expertise in government-guaranteed lending.
