Boyd Gaming Corporation released its 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility Report on April 14, 2025, detailing significant progress across its environmental and social initiatives. The company successfully diverted nearly 70% of its total waste from landfills in 2024, an improvement of over 10 percentage points from 2023.
The report also highlighted a 34% reduction in weather-normalized energy consumption in 2024 compared to its 2017 baseline, and a nearly 40% reduction in annual carbon emissions since 2017. Water conservation efforts resulted in a cumulative reduction of nearly 2.5 billion gallons since 2017, averaging over 350 million gallons annually.
In social responsibility, Boyd Gaming purchased 13% of its total biddable supplier spend from minority- and/or women-owned businesses in 2024, marking its fourth consecutive year of improvement. Team members pledged or contributed nearly $1.2 million to non-profit organizations during the 2024 Giving the Boyd Way campaign, exceeding the $1 million mark for the first time.
