CAE officially inaugurated its first Air Traffic Services (ATS) Training Centre on its Montreal campus on January 16, 2025, in collaboration with NAV CANADA. This new center broadens CAE's training portfolio beyond pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, and cabin crew to include air traffic controllers (ATC) and flight service specialists (FSS).

The partnership with NAV CANADA, the world's first fully private Air Navigation Service Provider, began in October 2024. CAE aims to train approximately 500 air traffic professionals by 2028, utilizing NAV CANADA's training curriculum and courseware delivered by CAE instructors.

This initiative represents an extension of CAE's mission to enhance safety and addresses the increasing global demand for air traffic services personnel. The company plans to leverage its existing global footprint to expand ATS training wherever demand exists, further diversifying its service offerings.
