On Monday, 27 Oct 2025, CAE Inc. announced that it has signed an agreement to deliver a new Boeing 737MAX full‑flight simulator (FFS) to MAB Academy, the training and development arm of Malaysia Airlines Group. The deal reinforces a partnership that has spanned nearly two decades and expands CAE’s commercial‑aircraft training portfolio with a high‑value simulator for the 737MAX family.
The new simulator will be installed in MAB Academy’s newly constructed flight‑simulator building in Sepang, Malaysia, and is scheduled to be ready for training in July 2026. It incorporates CAE’s Prodigy Image Generator, which uses Epic Games’ Unreal Engine to deliver photorealistic visuals and dynamic motion modeling, providing pilots with an immersive and effective training experience.
This contract strengthens CAE’s position in the Asia‑Pacific region, where the aviation industry projects a need for 98,000 new commercial pilots over the next decade. By adding a state‑of‑the‑art 737MAX FFS to its product line, CAE not only deepens its relationship with a key airline group but also enhances its capacity to meet the growing demand for pilot training in a critical market segment.
